We’re off to a cottage on the west coast for a week. Got my walking boots, my camera, my books, my man and my dog. What more could I ask for?

Rosie has been visiting this weekend and this morning she reminded me of one of the many many reasons that I’m looking forward to getting my own dog. I think all Sunday mornings should be spent this way.
Only 2 more weeks until my very own pooch moves in. :)

My brother was outraged the other day when one of Rosie’s random admirers asked him:
“Do you dye her hair?”
I’m not sure who was more insulted: my brother (”Of course, I don’t colour my dog’s hair!”) or Rosie (”Of course, I’m a real blonde! Pah!”).

Glenbuckie House

For the last five days my family and I have been staying in Glenbuckie House, a beautiful Victorian manor in Comrie, Perthshire. It was perfect! Frosty mornings, sunny days, starry nights, falling leaves, woodland walks, pancake breakfasts, silver squirrels, a cuddly spaniel, roaring fires, hide and seek… I could go on forever!
