Rufus

Rufus and his human are here for the weekend.  We’re all cosied up on the sofa now after a beautiful walk up the Fairy Glen on the Black Isle.  Can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday.  🙂

P.S. We are not terribly sure who the dog in the last picture is.  He just wandered out of the woods, stared at us for a while and wandered off.

  1. Adorable Rufus! I love that way dogs use their eyes, showing a bit of eyewhite, looking from the corner of their eye but pretending not to:) And how they find those oh so funny – not – things to play with (although that was at least a pretty pink item…;)

  2. Was it not snowy up there Wendy? We’ve been up in the Highlands for the last week & it started snowing on our way home this morning 😦

Rufus is one cute dog, the second picture is just gorgeous 🙂

  3. I love the pics. Rufus made me laugh, our lab runs off with my bra as soon as you put it down!!!

It sounds like the perfect way to spend a saturday 🙂

  4. Pia – Isn’t he gorgeous? He’s VERY mischievious though!

Claire – We had snow at night and a little today but yesterday was rather nice. Hope you enjoyed your time in the Highlands!

Megan – Bras, socks, pants… Rufus will chew anything small clothes item he can get his chompers around. 🙂

Christina – You should see him jump. It’s hillarious. He’s like a gazelle with poor spacial awareness.

  5. What perfect company for the weekend! I guess that other dog saw that you all were having so much fun that he might want to join in!
Thanks for the walk in the woods! I can just smell it now! And do I see peeks of green in those woods?

  6. Cynthia – Yup. He’s not fussy about the colour or size though!

Deb – Snowdrops and crocuses are peeking out. I’m not foolish enough to think that means spring is here though. It’s still very cold. 🙂

  7. rufus is gorgeous! and i love the photos in the woods, with tiny signs of spring just beginning to show.

my sheepdog does’t care about bras, but leave some underpants unguarded for even a second and they’re gone.
