After a whole week of brilliant sunshine and high temperatures, the heavens opened on Genna’s wedding day. It rained and thundered throughout the entire wedding! But no-one cared a jot. The day could not have been more beautiful.

It all looks ever so romantic with beautiful buildings and misty landscape. It rained loads on our wedding day too Gen (after weeks of fine weather) and everybody said it was a lucky omen and I’m sure they were right.

FABULOUS cake – WELL DONE
Do you remember, right at the beginning, I suggested to you (wrongly, it turned out) that, if you were having trouble with making a cake, that you might find it easier to make a pile of cupcakes? That’s what my nephew went for at his wedding, also on Saturday (I had no idea the two weddings were the same day) … made and decorated by his cousin
That’s two couples with fantastic friends prepared to give freely of their time
