Sigh.
We’re back from our holiday on the west coast. It was a magical, magical week. Somehow, the torrential rains that have been hammering the country recently missed the wee corner we were based in, enabling us to fully explore the hills and glens of the remote, beautiful Ardnamurchan penninsula and surrounding areas.
Don’t want to say too much about the following photos but I will tell you that the first photo is of the cottage we stayed in – Stag Cottage – and the following two photos are where the cottage is based. We practically had the entire glen to ourselves! Bliss.

A Wee Bit of Cooking 
What a beautiful area! You must have had a wonderful time. Doesn’t it just make your heart sing, when you stand on a hill in Scotland and look at the view?
I have rarely seen such a happy looking wee dog! He must be so glad to have found you. And the scenery looks wonderful, but mainly I was looking at that happy chappy canine …
Such gorgeous picture – thank you for sharing. Marco looks like the happiest little guy around – I think he knows he lucked in. I refuse to show my dogs these pictures – they’ll have expectations you know.

I see why you don’t want to say too much – words just can’t express what those picture do – I think they made E want to migrate back to Scotland! He thought it was a pine marten in one of the photos – is that right? And Marco does look like he had a wonderful time with you
This photo are wanderful. I remember my Italy. I write from Marche, Treia in the centre of Italy. We are the similar country and a good food. Bye 😉

Those pictures bring back a lot of memories. I am a geologist and spent a summer living in a caravan next to the castle on the beach on the Ardnamurchan pennisula.
I think you have inspired me to make a return visit!
That really looks like heaven on earth – Marco must have had a BLAST – he looks so happy! Next time I get back to Scotland, I am so doing a trip like this. This is my idea of paradise!

Ha Ha, I must not have had my lenses in. What you actually said was panting, but I read painting and I thought yes, I can see that. Once you stop working on the colours and shapes, you could really see what is around you. LOL! Or then again you could just be out of breath! That I can relate to this as Graham and I walked up the sidlaws yesterday.
