tpe – Thank you very much. 🙂 When I was taking the photos I wasn’t happy with them at all. But now that I’m home, I look at them and think THAT is my Madrid! Delighted.
Pat – Thank you!
Helen – It really was beautiful and (for some odd reason) I wasn’t expecting that.
Pia – Make sure it stays on that list. It’s a great city. Beautiful and lively.
Oh boy, your photos are so good. I love all the balconies. It’s such a lovely way to live: to be able to be outside so much. I hope you had a great birthday and are now busy cooking to share with us. Love S x
beautiful photos – I didn’t like being in Madrid (many years ago) – and your photos make me wonder why – although I do remember the murals and the museums fondly – and of course the churros and chocolate – hope your trip was as enjoyable as your photos
I love the photos. I truly hope I’m able to travel to Ireland, England, France, Spain, and Itlay some day. Thanks for sharing your photos. They are beautiful.
Sylvie – It was a bit wet but really quite warm. Lovely exploring weather.
Shona – Thank you! I loved the balconies too. Took millions of shots of them!
Joanna – No, it wasn’t like I imagined either. Much better. 🙂
Johanna – Funny, the first hour I was there I really thought I wasn’t going to like the city too much – too busy, too noisy – but I adored the buzz, I really did.
Christina – Thank you. It was right up there with the best. 🙂
Cats Puke – Thank you and will do!
Sara – I’m a lucky duck, indeed. 🙂
Starwoodgal – Add Scotland to the list! I know I’m biased but I do live in a stunning country. 😀
Deb – Thank you! I did.
Giz – The balconies were my favourite. Wish I had one….
Sophie – Thank you very much. 🙂 The city took me by surprise too. Could have continued exploring for weeks.
I loved those photos. What a joy to look through them! I felt like I was there with you and I think my lense would be trained on some of those same images.
What an absolutely glorious set of pictures. Yes, “gasp”.
(Still jealous, though.)
Kind regards etc….(you lucky duck)

Gorgeous. I want to be there right now. I hope you’ve enjoyed your travel.
Happy birthday, by the way. I hope it is your best yet.
These pictures are fabulous. I have to admit, I don’t usually look closely at photos usually, I just scrol down. These were really engaging though!
Congratulations on capturing some wonderful memories. Feel free to pass on your tips!
