Awwww! Love that snow on the face look. I’d better post Roi’si’n’s snowy faced pictures soon! She’s a hoot & a half. Sis says she’ll get puppy class pictures of us this coming Saturday. Stay tuned for much silliness & bobounce!
Merrypetal – Thank you so much! A happy 2009 to you too. 🙂
Ricki – Well, he’s been flirting with a black, long legged greyhound/lab cross called Tess but it’s nothing serious. So…
Salena – I used to suffer from that a LOT!
Kimj – Look forward to it!
Elaine – I love this picture as it represents his temperament and character so well. He really is a sweetheart.
Lucy – Done. He sends an ear snuffle back. x
Gen – Lol! Wish he could wash the car. That’d be great.
Susan – Marco would have no problem with that. He’s a very tactile pup. If I’m on the sofa, he’s sleeping on top of me. If I’m on the computer, he’s sitting on my feet. 🙂
He is indeed a cutie. I’m currently scouring the rescue centres for a dog in need of a loving home, but if you’d care to clone Marco, I’m up for one of them.

I want this dog! I have been looking all over NC for breeders of black English Spaniels and I am having a very hard time finding a single one. Some English Spaniel breeders, but none with black spaniels. If I’m down or stressed at work, I come to your site and look at all your gorgeous recipes and pictures of Marco! What a cutie indeed.
i have the exact clone of that dog …. you would swear they were the same dog ….. except for the tail ……sparkey’s tail is non existant……ours is a spaniel/ maltese cross
Greg – Marco is a Cocker Spaniel (English not American). When he gets particularly hairy, you can’t tell this though! Just visited your site. Your photos are amazing.
Cute Puppy!
Been meaning to wish you all good things for 2009. I have been quietly enjoying your posts via RSS feeds.
Best regards from Oregon.
What a cutie, indeed! Is he single? (Elsie made me write that). 😉
I have puppy envy! 🙂

Cuteness is a very good reason. What a sweetheart. (You can see it in his eyes.)
Wendy, he’s the most divine bambino.
The fleck of snow in his eye is just beautiful.
The Schmoo sends Marco her love…and will you give him a little kiss on the schnozz from moi?
Is that snow or has he been helping you wash the car?! x
Yes, Marco being Marco is reason enough. I saw this pic on Flickr the other day and I want to just hug him up.

Ah, indeed he is!
Hello
I’m a long time follower of your blog, but this is the first time I’ve left a comment.
Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your postings and photos.
I’m an Aussie with Scottish parents. I visited Scotland over 10 years ago now, but after looking at your flickr photos, I am itching to visit again.
I hope you keep posting and keeping people around the world entertained.
Great to see the recipe for Tablet. I have fond memories of eating it after school at my gran’s house.
Cheers
Helen
Fat Dog!
Pia – 🙂
Helen – Hello! Thank you for the kind comments. They really did make me smile. 🙂
Rosie – Marco says, “Shut it, big bum.”

Trekkie – An old lady asked me the same thing this weekend! Good luck with the search!

Christine – Very glad he cheers up your day. He certainly cheers up my own. Even if he did chase the postman out of the garden this morning…
