Really some awesome photgraphs! The definitions are so good – almost like I could reach into my computer screen and touch the articles or drink the Guiness! Thanks for sharing these.
Oh, these are lovely. Someday, I’ll go there. Ireland has always been on my wishlist.
My parents haven’t given up on the trip to Scotland, but the economy collapsed and they don’t have the resources to travel right now. They will make that trip sometime, and when they do, they’ll use that GREAT list of recommendations you sent.
Your photos are just beautiful and make me really long to go back. Wanted to visit Ireland my whole life and finally made it last Fall. Would love to return…and stay!
Bob – I like the Guiness one too. The creaminess is so clear. 🙂
Johanna – It was. Had a ball.
Christina – Think that’s the case with many people’s plans. Tell them the invitation to tea is an open one!
Smitoniusandsonata – It is indeed. 🙂
Gale – It is! We stopped in Avoca (Ballykissangel) on our way back to Dublin. I’ve never actually seen the programme but it’s a really pretty wee village.
Lanaann – I’m looking forward to returning too. Dublin was great but it’s the countryside and smaller towns I’d really like to explore.
Susan – Think I could manage that…
Siri – I had been sitting on that bench with a Guiness just before this photo was taken. Nice spot. 🙂
Super photos, you must have had a lovely time. I loved the ones of the beautiful countryside. Very intrigued with the statue of the man sitting on the bench by the water.
Do hope that your parents enjoy their trip to North Wales. The weather has been glorious over the past few days so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they don’t encounter the ususal Welsh Rain!

Glendalough ? Lovely photos . Thankyou !
Great pictures!! Is that the Fitzgeralds of Ballykissangel fame?

Hi, Wendy! Looks like you’ve been having a grand time. And, hey, have a Guiness for me, while you’re at it. 😛
Now I want a visit too! Love the picture of the old man on the bench in front of the hotel/restaurant.

Gorgeous. Love the Virgin Mary and the famous brand of Irish Beer shot.
Looks even greener than your Scotland.
A perfectly wonderful assortment of photographs!
Many thanks…
