That is a fabulous photo! You can’t beat the colour of autumn beech trees! We had a huge copper beech in our garden when I was a child, and once my father had swept up the fallen leaves into big piles across the lawn, we would throw ourselves into them! The best kind of childhood memory!
I can almost hear the crinkle and swish as, once upon a time, I would plough through autumn leaves near my childhood home, Dumfries.
