It’s been a rough year and for weeks now I’ve been highly excited about ringing in 2009 and saying good riddance to 2008. So much so, in fact, that I was rather taken aback when the below collage of this year’s blog pictures made me smile so much.
Lesson learnt: don’t let the grim blot out the great. 🙂
What a great collection of shots! I hope you had a lovely Christmas, Wendy, and that 2009 is a better one for you!
That’s lovely, as my mantra goes, it’s always in the details – a good thing to keep in mynd when things are tough and rough! 🙂
What a lovely idea to do this. If you print it off and stick it on the fridge door it will help you get through to Spring.
lovely pics – a nice way of remembering the good in 2008 – hope 2009 is a better year for you
Sorry that 2008 was such a tough year – but I’m with you, I’m completely ready for it to end! I always enjoy looking at your pictures and reading your recipes to perk me up! So you’ve been helping the rest of us get through the year. 🙂
A very happy sentiment – and some lovely photos!
Yes I have often done the same – often letting the bad overshadow the good. I think I mght be re-training my mind out of it though, as hard as it is. I love your collage, there have definitely been many lovely wee blog moments this year. Looking forward to seeing your posts in 2009 🙂
Is that you in the Blue vest? Good lesson. Have a brilliant 2009!
Antonia – It was lovely, thank you. 🙂 Hope your year is wonderful.
Pia – Exactly!
Shona – You’re forgetting I’m a winter fan! Mind you, might need help getting through the mammoth term coming up…
Johanna – Thank you!
Leslie – You are a sweetie. Thank you. 🙂
Lysy – And if I forget it, I have some rather inspiring fridge magnets to perk me up.
Helen – Look forward to seeing your too. 🙂
Mallika – Nope, that’s my friend Lina. I’m the one in red behind the bride fixing her hair. A wonderful 2009 for you too!
What a fantastic year, Wendy! I hope 2009 is even better!
Seems like you and me are in the same boat. I’ve never looked so forward to starting a new year before. 2008 was more than rough and I want to start 2009 off on the right foot. Great photo collage! Hope you have a great New Years and more importantly, a rejuvenating 2009!
Brilliant post. I send good thoughts to you for a better 2009.
