These photos lift my spirit. May the glorious landscapes that you capture so beautifully offer some solace to you now and in the weeks and months ahead.
I agree with ana. Lots of walking around these beautiful places with Marco will help you through this difficult time. You will get through it. Be as patient and understanding with yourself as you would be to others.
Thinking of you,

I’ve been an anonymous reader of your blog for a year Wendy, and just wanted to say that your writing and photos have always inspired me and shown me the beauties and the blessings in this life – I hope it can do the same for you. Thank you for sharing your life with us; I’ll still be here when you’re ready to come back. Sending you much peace and sympathy. xx
Whereas I, on the other hand, am lucky enough to work with Wendy everyday and you know what, she really is as wonderful in real life as she appears to be here.
When I lost my Mum less than 2 years ago, I thought ‘what’s the point to sitting at a stupid computer doing stupid blogging?’. So I stopped. But so many old adages are true for a reason. Such as ‘time heals’ and ‘life goes on’. So when you’re ready, we’ll be here to give you a quick cyber hug, look at your amazing photos, and follow your culinary exploits.
